I expect Bammy to either play the exact same formation as me or a 4-3-3 with Nainggolan staying on and leaving Van Dijk out. Honestly I think this result will be picked on which team would score more goals [on paper] rather than tactics because I think they'll be identical. I will play with 3 at the back to stop any chances of his team counter attacking or outnumbering me. It would always be 3v3, worse case scenario. My fullbacks will go up alternatively as I keep 4 at the back at all times. The fullback will either overlap Neymar or Salah to help create better chances, making it a 4v5. I would back my forwards to penetrate his 5 man defence no matter what his tactics are, they're simply too strong. He may have brought in Van Dijk to stop Lewandowski but Lewandowski is as creative as the wingers and can easily create chances for them rather than the other way around. He can drag 1 defender out of position to make it a 2v3 in behind. Casemiro and Kovacic are both support acts in the attack, the front 3 alone are capable of creating all the chances, if there is nothing on, then they would pass back to the two in midfield to keep possession and try make an opening. Casemiro's creativity is underrated. Just look at his assist to Firmino a few days ago for Brazil, whereas Kovacic has the capability to dribble past anyone to penetrate the defence too. I've brought in Varane to sweep up behind, if his team is on the counter as Laporte and Sokratis would go at the player with the ball (somewhat like Ramos) since it's not risky to leave space in behind as Varane is faster and stronger than anyone else. Also all my defenders are 6ft+, good in the air, Varane and Laporte both being 6'4. Aguero has no chance of winning headers and even if it's low crosses, my defenders are quick enough to close down space, especially with Varane being the main man on him in the middle.
