A back four with Gerrard in front, then Milner and Henderson with lots of stamina to take care of the rest of the Italian midfield, whilst Welbeck man-marks Pirlo. Rooney and Sturridge have free roles, with Sturridge more advanced. Potential for Welback and Rooney - and possibly Sturridge - to switch roles asthe match progresses, keeping the Italians on their toes.
