This probably looks like it would lose every game, but with the right tactics, it can really come off. Defense seems to have some serious issues, so let's cover that first. You will notice that the team's wingbacks are in the midfield line. This helps to swamp the midfield area, stopping the opponent from getting on to the wings. These wingbacks can drop into their natural position, covering the wings. The CDM drops back and becomes a third CB, while the original two help to form a strong defensive line. When on the attack, the wing-forwards move into the centre as the wide midfielders move forward. The two central midfielders also move forward, creating extreme discomfort for the opposition. As such, I hope I have shown you how this supposedly weak formation can be incredibly overpowered.
