I believe that this is the best possible Real Madrid setup. The pace of the front three and their crucial finishing will score a lot of goals through out the season. The midfield I setted up is based on recent performances and how good will it play. Xabi as a DM will be able to sit deep and tackle also throwing long passes. Kroos performed on his debut against Sevilla like he was in the team for years. Calm and decisive his passes were crucial to the opponents defence. Modric will be pushing up front as he is faster and can play really quality short passes also through balls so he can work with Karim to deliver balls to Cristiano and Bale. The defence is the best possible it has experience, strength, pace, attacking minded and good tacklers. After the World Cup that Marcelo had and the last couple of games from Coentrao I believe that Coentrao performs better in the LB role than Marcelo. Ramos without a doubt is there. Varane is picked over Pepe as it is finally time. Pepe is getting older and his abilities are getting worse on the other hand Varane is showing how talented he is and how he can partnership with Sergio. Carvajal has explosive speed, good forward passes, good control of the ball, his decisions are not well thought at some point but he can improve. Keylor Navas showed how good he is between the sticks last season at Levante and in the 2014 World Cup. He made crucial saves and in the BBVA he was the 2nd keeper with most cleansheets. Young and ready to learn from Casillas I see Navas as the best option.
