Manchester United will go into this game at Old Trafford with big problems in midfield. Herrera has now been ruled out for up to 7 weeks and Carrick is still not fully fit. Wayne Rooney has now been suspended for 3 games and will be unable to take his captaincy at the front of the diamond. If Darren Fletcher doesn't play then Van Persie will captain. Tyler Blackett is back from suspension and will probably take his place in the back four in place of McNair. Finally Utd will have to without doubt change formation to 4-4-2 with Valencia starting wide. Everton also have big injury problems. Distin is still injured in defense and Coleman is still unlikely to play after not even sitting on the bench in Russia. This means with John Stones will continue in the middle with Jagielka and Tyias Browning will take over from Tony Hibbert at right back. Hibbert has already played in 2 games this week and for a 33 year old he will only be on the bench on Sunday. In Midfield James McCarthy and Kevin Mirallas are still injured and will be replaced by former Utd midfielder Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady.
