Formation: 4-2-3-1 This team is all about balance, athleticism, technique, and flair. It is set up to press, to retain the ball when necessary, and to attack at speed. In defence, we are world-class solid with attacking full backs and ball-playing central defenders. Frank de Boer is a naturally left-sided central defender who will perfectly complement Sergio Ramos. And Oliver Kahn is a monster in goal. He won four consecutive UEFA Best European Goalkeeper awards, three World's Best Goalkeeper awards, and two German Footballer of the Year trophies. At the 2002 World Cup at the age of 34, Kahn became the first and only goalkeeper in the tournament's history to win the Golden Ball. In midfield, Yaya Touré and Nemanja Matic will hold the centre, break up the play of the opposition, and cover for the full backs when required. As two of the very best defensive midfielders playing today they a combination of physical power and technique that even the best players of yesteryear will struggle to match. Meanwhile the opposition will be run ragged by the triple threat of Maradona, Neymar, and Robben - all of whom will have license to roam and combine with Ronaldo. (Although, of course, Maradona will play wherever he wants because he's that damn good.)
