Best formation in my opinion to accomodate the players. Once Jones is back fit I reckon him and Rojo is the best centre-back partnership. At right-back McNair needs more games there to prove himself and Rafael is too much of a liability so I'll go with Valencia who can put in a decent shift there. At left back Young has been good but I feel Shaw should get in ahead because he is young, very good and has lots of potential to be a top left-back. In midfield Blind can be the anchor in the midfield spraying the passes whilst Herrera has been very when he's played; always looking to pass forward and is a threat, I'd play Fellaini though against teams with physical midfielders to avoid getting overrun in midfield. And then an attacking midfield trio of Januzaj, Rooney and Di Maria, Januzaj is young and talented and needs more games under van Gaal whilst Rooney is best in the centre behind van Persie where he can be a goal threat and can spray those passes; I don't think he quiite suits being a central-midfielder. Di Maria out on the left because he can go out wide and take on dfenders or cut inside and thread those through passes like he did so effectively at Real Madrid last season. Finally van Persie up front, yes he hasn't played well this season but I feel Wilson is too young and not ready to lead the line yet and Falcao has been worse, also van Persie is United's top scorer this season so he has to be in there for me.
