Goalie: Start Solo unless serious injury. Harris and Naeher as alternates. If Harris is in, Sauerbrunn needs to stay back more in case Harris comes out too far and someone gets in behind. Naeher is more conservative like Solo, doesn't need as much protection. If either sub plays, Sauerbrunn needs to help more directing defense and positioning on set-pieces. Hinkle is the only sub option besides O'Hara for LB, but for the love of god don't play her unless there's no other option. Sonnett can sub in for Johnston if necessary, but isn't consistent. O'Hara could also sub in for Krieger if necessary. Brian and Horan should always be in center mid, Mewis is backup option. Without O'Reilly and with McCaffrey having little experience, our most reliable winger pair will be Heath and O'Hara. O'Hara is the only other wing option who will ensure that Krieger will not run herself ragged covering for Dunn who drifts to far towards middle. McC can be a sub for either or start in place of O'Hara. Dunn CANNOT play on left side with Klinenberg or Hinkle, they will get torn apart. No Dunn unless no other option, should only play forward. Morgan and Lloyd are best combo up front if Lloyd is hot. Press is viable sub for Morgan, but they shouldn't play at the same time, no chemistry. Dunn and Pugh also possible subs in for Lloyd or Morgan move to 4-4-2 instead of 4-4-1-1. McC best saved for winger subs. Pugh should not start, just sub.
