Wing backs provide the width when attacking and are the out balls. Defensive midfielder is there to be the easy pass backwards to keep possession he just plays it from side to side. Off the ball the inside forward drops back into a left midfield position and the deep lying playmaker moves across to a right midfield position, the advanced playmaker and defensive midfielder act as a two man centre midfield.
