GK: Self explanatory D: Bertrand's form over the last two years makes him the obvious choice. Toss up between Shaw and Rose for understudy, depending on form and fitness. Wish for more options at CB but there aren't any. Dann is one possible but not ideal to throw in at the tournament without prior experience. Can risk Clyne as only RB due to versatility of Smalling, Stones and Dier. M: Preferred central three of Alli, Dier and Henderson with the former playing in front of the other two. Versatility and experience of Milner make him a shoo-in. Barkley is an exciting alternative to play at the top of the central three or out wide. Carrick's inclusion is reluctant but necessary due to limited anchor options. Provides much heralded experience in a young squad. F: Plenty of choices. Kane should definitely lead the line, with two from Welbeck, Vardy, Sterling and Lallana to support from wide. Interchangeability and depth of options here is encouraging. Lallana could easily be replaced for Walcott depending on f+f. Rooney's place as captain is assured but he needs to be used as an alternative and not relied upon as a focal point. Sturridge is another option from the bench depending on fitness.
