Clyne and Rose attacking full backs to provide the team with some width as width is lacking with no wide midfielders. Dier plays as a half-back, disrupting opposition play and dropping just in front of the centre halves when defending. Alli plays as the box2box midfielder, supporting Rose in the wide left areas but also ensuring that no holes develop on the left flank. Wilshere plays as the deep lying playmaker, the main creative force in the team. He will not get as forward as Alli and will help negate against counter-attacks along with Dier. Will occasionally make runs forward to support attacks. Rooney will play as an enganche. The link between midfield and attack and whilst he will get back to help defending, his main role is to support Kane & Vardy and get involved in the goals with his international experience. Vardy will play as a hybrid Left Winger/Centre forward. Cutting in from the left so he can utilise his pace against the centre halves with the out to in run with balls provided by Rooney & Wilshere. Kane will play as the teams main target up front and will hold up the ball for the team and also make darting runs in and around the box.
