Chase sits as a deep 6 for us, but we can also move one of the other 3 midfielders down to invert the triangle if we need more defensive cover. The kids will recognize this as "diamond" hand signal, like the thing Jay Z used to do. The front three can be interchange positions to give their defense different looks as all three are effective in the 7, 9, 11 positions. We have a tendency to get "stuck in the corners", so that is something to look out for. They'll constantly have to be reminded to switch the field and not only attack through going up the wing. All three of our goals yesterday came from direct central attacks and through balls. Wide strikers will need to be reminded to drop and cover their wide attackers, sometimes we let people slip through.
