Formation and Style The team employs a twist on traditional 4-4-2 formation with switching between direct wing play and counter attacking football due to the abundance of exceptionally quick players. Defensive Organisation - While Defending, the team applies hard pressing on their defenders through the wingers and strikers, not allowing them to play out of their defense but once ball is played out of their defence the team gets back as an organised unit. When Bale move to the left and hazard right, it allows them to use their stronger foots to cross the ball rather than cut in and with the presence of Zlatan in the box and Ballack and Rivaldo rushing in, allows direct wing play. The Wing Backs Cafu and Roberto Carlos have wicked crosses and with the likes of silva and muller marking them, they could suprise defenders with early crosses into Zlatan. With Roy Keane acting as a defensive foil to hyppia and chivu it allows Cafu and Carlos the freedom to put bodies forward and help the wingers.
