4-1-3-2 Formation Mason typically is the starting target forward and plays with Matteo who comes back and connects the game in midfield. The typical subs made are the players that are to the right. Matt can also play as a forward, Adam can play anywhere but leftback, Jeremy can play in MF/FWD anywhere as well.Kobe is a forward or a wide player. Matt struggles the most. Our focus the last few weeks has been: 1. Protect the space behind us defensively. We tend to push too high in support of possession and leave ourselves exposed to the counter. 2. In possession look to bounce the ball to keep it moving, and then when it's on look forward to try and play between the lines of the other teams. We were up 3-0 on this team in the fall, gave up two counter goals and two free kicks from one kid up top.
