when the team is in possession, Rodriguez(LB) ventures forward disrupting the opposition's right flank and allowing overlap with the inside forward(Hazard) who can cut inside and either distribute the ball to the centre mids(Fabregas and Eriksen), switch play to Cuadrado on the opposite flank or play through Auba or the overlapping Rodriguez. Fabregas is the advanced playmaker here, venturing forward when the team is in possession and looking for short passes or long through balls. Eriksen is a box-to-box midfielder, roaming around and making himself available for a quick pass to send someone or shoot from distance. If possession is lost and rodriguez is caught out of position, Matic moves deep in line with the defence, acting like a centre-back, meanwhile Zouma goes out wide, acting like a makeshift limited full-back. Eriksen then puts the pressure on the man in possession and if the tackle is succeeded, he either sends someone himself, looks for a quick counter-attack in Cuadrado, Hazard, or Aubameyang, or works with Fabregas to keep possession and regain control of the game.
