Starting from the front, Jesus makes himself a target man and an option for 1 2's for incoming runners while pulling the opposition center backs towards him to make space for Neymar and Coutinho. Neymar is the winger that cuts in to find the space to score while Coutinho either goes to the middle to dictate play or go out wide to deliver crosses. Paulinho does the job of two people, in possession he becomes a central option in the attack as a late runner while out of possession he breaks down counters before they reach the wall of Casemiro. Augusto becomes the metronome in the back as he connects the play and covers the space behind Marcelo. Casemiro is the protection for the back line as all attacks that pass Paulinho are cut out by Casemiro, he also acts as reset when in possession. Marcelo and Alves act as almost wingbacks due to them having to provide the width with Neymar and Coutinho cutting in. Miranda and Marquinos complete the back line and acts as the sweepers and classic defenders as most attacks are to be broken down before reaching them. Alisson acts as a normal keeper, staying close to his line and does not act as the sweeper but Ederson might be a choice as a sweeper keeper.
