We have the triple golden glove winner Allisson Becker, blessed with positioning and distribution skills, guarding the goal Our back 4 possess exceptional pace, stamina and work-rate. The centre back pairing is an immovable object with the legends Nesta and Bruce. Nesta is the ball playing CB who can start play from the back. Both the CB's have great positional awareness, extremely adept at reading the game, tactical acumen, strong tackling ability, aerial prowess, and extremely composed on the ball. The fullbacks in Zambrotta and Evra will give more importance to defending and guard their flanks but will make overlapping runs whenever the wingers cut in, providing the width for the team. Both of them stay back when CB's go forward for corners and free kicks. Bruce is an excellent goalscoring defender and will be a handful on corners and free kicks. Our midfield has two complete midfielders in Keane and Cambiasso and they are equally capable at defending, keeping the ball, and passing it forward (or making forward runs themselves). Cambiasso is the Destroyer shielding the defence, disrupting opposition, intercepting their passes and winning back possession. Keane is the Passer, who will carry the ball forward after obtaining possession and either distribute it to other players or create chances for his teammates himself. Without the ball, Keane also drops back to assist Cambiasso in breaking some legs! Nedved (the man who replaces Zizou in Turin) is the Creator in this midfield, and with his excellent dribbling ability, passing range and vision he can unlock the tightest of defences and create opportunities for our attackers. Together, this midfield is full of intelligence, determination, character and can change the shape of any game on their own. Our attack boasts of the pacy Salah and Bale on the flanks and Ian Rush "The Poacher" upfront. Bale and Salah will attack on the wings providing crosses and making inside runs, and will switch positions whenever possible as both are sufficient playing on either wings. This switching will help them confuse their markers and to penetrate into opponent's defense. Both wingers will track back when needed. Bale and Salah will combine with Nedved to create opportunities even take long range shots if they have enough time on the ball. Rush will be at the receiving end of all the crosses and will put everything he gets into the back of the net. Both the wingers and Nedved have tremendous crossing ability and Rush will make full use of it. Rush will hold the ball for others to run past the defence when he cannot shake off the defenders.
