Ndidi sits as a Holding Midfielder, just forward and between the two Centre-Halves, Ndidi defensively acts as a plug between the opposition player and their Striker. On Offense, he acts as both a distributer to the two central midfielders and safe retreat, allowing for the re-distribution of the ball. Kostas Tsimikas and Aaron Wan-Bissaka sit wide, but not forward and are at the disposal of the Centre Halves to gain width in opposition defence. In the result of a turnover the Full Backs are both already defensively set to track any opposing wingers.
