Defending When defending. Our ST’s mark there CB. We force them in one direction and then step with the closest OB. The opposite side OB needs to tuck in so we can overload the midfield with players. As the ball swings we adjust and go wide. Both CB like to get forward into the attack same with both wing backs. They like to get the ball forward in a hurry, playing more direct. It’s important we win balls out of the age and track back. 2/3 CM are creative on the ball. The tallest of the CM likes to play very direct.
