Manager: Louis van Gaal Formation: 3-1-4-2[diamond] Defence:- Dani Alves is a quick full-back who can attack just as well as defend. He is one of the worlds best full-backs and can bring a more attacking game to Manchester United.(Right Back) Gerard Pique is a big strong centre back who in my opinion can stop any forwards by himself comfortably. His height is just what United need on set pieces and from high ball and his strength will stop strikers. Marcos Rojo is a fairly good defender but his attacking play is key. When he is on the ball in the opponents half he will tear them apart. He has accurate passing and is very strong and reasonably tall. Midfield:- Daley Blind is a key for the defence because he is the last midfielder for the opposition to get past. He reads the game of football better than anyone else on the team and is a huge help for the team as he can play anywhere, but he is a natural left-back or centre defence midfielder. Ander Herrera is a Spanish piece of magic. He can score, dribble, pass, tackle, defend, attack, pretty much anything. He can sit behind the centre attacking midfielder and can drop back next to blind if needs be. He is the centre of the diamond which is a huge role to play at such a big club like Manchester United. Gareth Bale is the worlds fastest footballer. He can run through anybody. His ability for goal is exquisite and has a natural understanding of football. Also he is able to use both feet is required. His role is on the right side of the diamond playing as Right Winger and can whip in crosses from any angle. Angel di Maria is just phenomenal. He can score from anywhere and can run through defences just like Bale. His role is on the left side of the diamond where he produces his best football. He is a great team player and is reliable at any time. Wayne Rooney is the captain of Manchester United which is a big role. Not only does he have to lead the team but he has to be very careful with what he does. In the past he has made silly errors and has resulted negatively. he can switch play and create uncertainty for other teams. His shooting ability is also the worlds best. Strikers:- Robin van Persie has the kind of goal scoring ability that nobody wants to face. Even though not the quickest of forwards he can still get away from players with his skills. He currently holds the greatest headed goal of all time playing at the World Cup for Holland in a 5-1 win over Spain. Radamel Falcao is exactly like RVP only a little faster. He can get away from defenders with ease and creates opportunities not only for himself but also for team-mates around him. He has scored 7 overhead kicks and 2 bicycle kicks.
