The formation seems a bit wonky but it's basically the same 5-3-2 as last time. Baresi yet again plays in his classic Sweeper role, Bergomi and Tassotti play as centre backs and Birindelli and Cafu are wing backs who go forward one at a time, leaving the other to stay back and watch for counters. Tacchinardi plays as a central midfielder who has fantastic passing ability and is on the defensive side, Seedorf comes in for Dunga and will help the side transition from defence to attack, Totti is a trequartista, supports the midfield and plays the ball forward to ADP and R9. Ronaldo comes in for Inzaghi, this attack will make the opposition shake in their boots especially since it has two of the best forwards of their generation in ADP and Ronaldo. With a defence like that and attack of R9, Totti and ADP, nothing can go wrong with this team. It will use a mixture of pace, power, physicality and technical ability to outmuscle any team they play. Mentality: Defensive. Style: Count Attacking. Passing: Mixed. Subs: Inzaghi on for ADP in the 70th minute.
