1) The Wing-back responsibility is to provide width in attack and wide cover in defence. These two players will be considered the fittest of the lot as their tireless job of moving up and down the link is key. 2) The Centre Defensive Midfielder has to provide cover for the Centre Backs, he is condidered "the cleaner" and his job is critical in being the muscle in the middle. 3) The Central Midfielder has the responsibility of sitting back and dictating play, he receives the ball and distributes where he sees fit, he must be a good passer (Scholes-esque), a neat touch, confidence on the ball and good vision. 4) LAM & RAM, these guys provide creativity and goal scoring opportunities. With their guile and skill, they should be able to find an opening through the toughest of defenses. Movement is also key to throw off man markers. 5) CAM, Rooney's responsibility is to do what he does best...link with Kagawa and Mata...BEAST, WORK, SCORE!!!! 6) ST, RVP, with that trio supporting him will find many opportunities to score...and we know he can sore.
