Ideology: Never give the ball away. Have no greedy roles that dribble, no roles that move into positions where possibility of losing ball is high, nor positions that tempt others into passing there. Spread out across the pitch with multiple safe options to pass to, with enough depth to avoid struggling to get out of our own half. Contain Highly Structured TI's: Retain possession Shorter passing Work ball into box Play out of defence Look for overlap Play wider Stick to positions Stay on feet Use tighter marking Waste time Take a breather Much lower tempo Play even safer Be more disciplined PI's: Keeper pass to BPD's & to slow down distribution WB's set to cross less All appropriate set to less risky passes All appropriate to dribble less All that can set to hold up ball, bar AM-S AM-S to hold position as need out ball Set man marking as appropriate to ensure CM-S drop
