Ideology: Many players behind the ball to provide double ups everywhere. Out ball to players with unselfish roles in order to at least keep the ball for a few more seconds than the standard hit up to attacking player who dribbles into the brick wall in that cul-de-sac. Varied attacking mechanism on the break with width from CWBs, support centrally from DM-S to help AM-A and DLF-S do their job of hopefully scoring. Expect low possession. Counter or Overload if behind Very Fluid TI's: Pass into space Play out of defence Exploit the flanks Look for overlap Much higher defensive line Get stuck in Use tighter marking Use offside trap PI's: Keeper to slow down play and pass to BPD if the DLF is not tall DM-S's to dribble more if they can AM-A to shoot more & dribble less, no roaming, channels yes, close down much more DLF-S, roam, channels, shoot more, dribble less, close down much more
