GK: Play the ball out to the lines, never put your defence under pressure with short balls out, clear your lines 1st take the pressure off your defence. LB/RB: Listen to your center backs, you should be flanking them to support their lack of pace, hold your position do not bomb forward at every opportunity, basic rule is to make sure the defence moves as a unit, do not hold L1 and watch the mini map, communicate at all times. LCB/RCB: Need to stay central, they rely on the full backs and the CDM to be playing their positions so as not to get dragged wide, stay on your feet don't dive into tackles, stay on your feet especially in the box. CDM: This is an important role on the pitch, you are needed to break up attacks and cut passing lanes, look for your midfielders and play the ball out with X passes, you must protect your back 4 at all times, you should never find yourself playing as a CAM. LCM/RCM: Again you are not the CAM, you need to stay and control the midfield, look for the ball from the CDM and try to feed the CAM passes into feet, when we are defending you need to support the CDM and pressure your position, if you drift too far forward you will leave us badly exposed and the CDM will get overrun. CAM: You need to be the heartbeat of every attack, you should be playing mainly in front of the 2 strikers, finding space and staying central are key to how a good CAM plays, look for X passes into the strikers feet and use your experience to know when a through ball is the way to go. Talk to your midfield and let them know where you are at all times, communication in this department is vital. LS/RS: You guys need to get us goals, you need to talk to the CAM let him know when you are coming short and want the ball to feet and also when the longer ball is the option, you need to be able to link up with each other and know when to pass and when to shoot, never be afraid to have a shot, again communication in this department is vital.
