Back four is simple, the center halfs defend the box, whilst the full back mark the wide men and move forward when we have good possession. The central midfielders stay very central playing short passes into the attacking players e.g Rooney, Januzaj, Reus. Carrick is a holding mifeilder who protcects the box, Gungogen is a box to box midfielder, he can defend, change the tempo and attack. Moving further forward the front four are very fluid with Januzaj and Reus swaping when needed. Rooney is playing in the number 10 role coming deep to collect his job is to ultimately create chance by either plaing in Januzaj or Reus or going more direct straight to Van Persie. Januzaj is wider than Rooney, but has mainly the same job. Rues is more direct and runs at the defender causing the full back all kinds of trouble. Finally up top Van Persie makes the typical diagonal runs in behind starting deep and running in front of the first centre back and behind the other.
